La profesora Yeter Beris, de la Halic University de Estambul ha impartido un taller sobre la obra de Mehmet Siyah Kalem a los grupos de primer curso de Ilustración.
Su obra como referente conceptual y cruce cultural en el siglo XV en el Bósforo y su propuesta de inspiración actual para los estudiantes de ilustración.
La profesora Yeter Beris nos comenta sus objetivos en el taller y su excelente impresión sobre el trabajo de los grupos: In the workshop study, there has been emphasized on the editing of the painting which is meaning the concept art which restructuring the perceived one by breaking down in thought with efforts to reach self over the paintings of Mehmet Siyah Kalem. Also in Turkish painting art, there has been given the place to the studies of the artists which have been effected from those paintings.
