Artediez Art School

Art schools in our country hold a big tradition on teaching visual arts and design. The Artediez Art School is located in an areal of the capital of Spain endowed with excellent communications and with important cultural institutions. There is a metro station just by the door and several bus stops nearby. Moreover, the Atocha train station has the widest short distance network in Spain, which makes it very accessible from all towns in the Madrid region. The Atocha train station is also the hub for high-speed trains connecting the city with the rest of the Iberian Peninsula.

Cultural Enviroment

The school is located in one of the best cultural areas in Madrid. In a nearby area are the Prado Museum, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Thyssen Museum and the Cultural Centres Casa de Vacas and Francisco de Quevedo. Also the proximity to the Botanical Gardens and the Retiro Park is an attraction for the development of artistic activities.

Our school has a considerable experience in teaching visual arts and design with special interest in graphic expression and visual communication, interior, fashion and industrial design. Our teaching staff, specializing in a variety of fields, gives out specific training on both theory and practice in each individual program of study.

The school has a good infrastructure that has been renewed according to the needs of the moment. Currently it has specific classrooms for lithography, silk screen, intaglio engraving, photography, desktop publishing, multimedia communication, computer assisted animation, audiovisual techniques, pattern making and sewing, printing and textile technology, equipped with modern means for content to fill the various subjects taught in each curriculum.
