2. Admission Test

It is a test to be carried out by those applicants who do not possess the academic requirements, that is, those without Secondary Education Diploma or equivalent qualifications, to access intermediate vocational or those with no high school diploma to enter the Higher Vocational. Once passed this test, specific entrance tests can be performed.

1. Pursuant to Article 52.3 of the Organic Law 2/2006 of May 3, may access the medium degree of vocational training in arts and design, without being in possession of the academic requirements of access, those who can prove, by passing an entrance test, possess sufficient knowledge and skills to successfully pursue these teachings, along with the necessary skills to Article 14.3 of Royal Decree refers [RD 596/2007, of May 4 Ministry of Education and Science], and are at least seventeen years of age in the year of completion of the test.

2. Pursuant to Article 52.3 of the Organic Law 2/2006 of May 3, may access the high level of vocational training in arts and design, without being in possession of the academic requirements of access, those who can prove, by passing an entrance examination to have the maturity in relation to the objectives High School Diploma, along with the necessary skills to Article 14.3 of Royal Decree refers [RD 596/2007, of May 4 Ministry of Education and Science], and are at least nineteen years of age in the year of completion of the test, or eighteen if it is shown to be in possession of a title of Technician related to the course they want to access.

3. The admission tests referred to in Article Article 52.4 of the Organic Law 2/2006 of 3 May on Education, consist of two parts:

a. The general part, for access to middle grade, will focus on the basic skills of compulsory secondary education and for access to the higher grade, will focus on the basic knowledge and skills of high school core subjects.

b. The specific part that will evaluate artistic skills and knowledge needed to successfully study the relevant provision.

4. The Education Administrations will regulate the exemption test to prove that they have work experience of at least one year directly related to the professional skills of the training cycle or higher level to which they want to access by providing at least the documentation as indicated in Article 15.4 of this standard [RD 596/2007, of May 4 Ministry of Education and Science].

5. Also, they may be exempted from the general part of the test those who passed the entrance examination to university for candidates over 25.
