Those applicants who are in possession of any title degree as Technician of Art and Design in a professional family related to the teachings wished to pursue, or title declared equivalent, are exempt from the specific test for admission to a higher degree in Professional Training in Visual Arts and Design.
Those in possession of any of the following qualifications will be exempt from the specific admission test to Professional Training in Visual Arts and Design intermediate and higher levels:
a. Spanish Baccalaureate Diploma in Arts or Experimental Artistic Baccalaureate.
b. Certificate of Higher Education (HNC) in Art and Design in their different specialties, or certificates declared equivalent.
c. Certificate of Higher Education (HNC) in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, in their different specialties.
d. University Degree in Fine Arts.
e. University Degree in Architecture.
F. Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) in Industrial Design.
They will be exempt from the specific admission test to intermediate and higher levels of professional training Visual Arts and Design those who, being in possession of the academic entry requirements as established in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 14 of Royal Decree 596/2007, of May 4, prove that they have work experience of at least one year, directly related to the professional skills of the training course or higher education level to which they want to apply, and thus must provide the following documents:
* Certification of the company specifically stating the duration of the contract, the performed tasks and the time period in which these tasks have been performed. For self-employed, certified registered in the taxpayers census.
The number of positions for those applicants who are exempt from the specific admission test is limited. Those applicants who do not obtain position by direct access must take the specific admission test.
Regulatory standard
Resolution of 14 March 2008, from the General Directorate of Secondary Education and Professional Training, on access and admission of students to intermediate and higher level vocational professional training in Visual Arts and Design for 2008-2009 school year, and instructions by which the General Directorate of Secondary Education and Specialized Education of the Education Office of the Community of Madrid regulates the functioning and organization of art schools each academic year.
